WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please arrive not later than 5:00 pm. The wedding is on a Friday and the venue is on Kent Island. If traveling eastbound over the Bay Bridge, please allow ample time for HEAVY beach traffic. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm.
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE CEREMONY/RECEPTION?
Black-tie encouraged. For men, tux or suits. For women, floor length gowns.
IS THERE A HOTEL ROOM BLOCK?
We do not have a room block at The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, which is the primary hotel for our wedding weekend. Rooms there are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to book quickly due to summer travel and other weddings in the area. We highly recommend reserving your accommodations as soon as possible (yes, even months in advance!).
For guests who prefer a discounted group rate, we have secured a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island Marina.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO & FROM THE VENUE?
Both The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and the Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island will have shuttle services to bring guests to and from the venue on the wedding day. Please see the “Transportation” tab for specific information regarding shuttle pickup locations and schedule.
There is also parking available at the venue for those who prefer to drive!
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
Although we love your little ones, our wedding has been planned as a child-free event. We ask that only the children in the wedding party attend. Those will be directly invited by Vivian & Logan. Bring your party shoes, but leave the littles at home!
WILL THE CEREMONY/RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTSIDE?
The ceremony & cocktail hour will be held outside (dependent on the weather of course), but the reception will be inside! Please plan accordingly. :)
CAN I STAY ON MY BOAT?
Yes, the venue is located within Bay Bridge Marina! Please call 410.643.3162 to reserve your slip! Or see the “Travel” tab for additional information. We recommend booking ASAP as slips fill up rather quickly!
IS THERE A HOTEL ONSITE?
Yes, the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! This is where the wedding party will be staying. We also have a second hotel with a room block & discounted rates nearby. Please see the “Travel” tab for details & reservations.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS/VIDEOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
We have hired a professional photographer & videographer to capture our special day. While we appreciate you wanting to capture this moment for us. We look forward to our guests being fully present with us. Please silence/store away all devices and enjoy this moment with us. We will share the professional photos with all once released! :)
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate guests who are formally listed on the invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be indicated on your invite. Thank you for understanding!
WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?
Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI), about a 45min drive to the venue. Or Dulles International Airport, about an hour and half drive to the venue.
IS THERE A WELCOME PARTY?
We invite all guests to kick off our wedding weekend with us at Libbey’s Coastal Kitchen! Join us at the outdoor bar on Thursday, August 20th, at 8:30 PM. For more details, please visit the home page under "events". Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Shuttle transportation will be provided from The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.
IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO THE WELCOME PARTY?
Shuttle service will be available from The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, taking guests to Libbey's Coastal Kitchen. Timing details to come as the event approaches. Guests are also welcome to drive if they prefer.
IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO THE AFTER PARTY?
A shuttle will be available at the end of the reception, taking guests from the venue to the after-party at Knoxie’s Table, located at The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Guests will be responsible for their own transportation home afterward.
SHOULD I TIP THE RECEPTION BARTENDERS?
Gratuity has already been included as part of our wedding arrangements, so tipping is not expected. That said, if you feel inclined, you’re more than welcome to leave an extra tip.
